Girls group for Girls aged 11 -15 years

Service Description

Come and join us for this returning group session for girls aged between 11 - 15 years old. This group explores social media and how we use and consume it, body 'positivity', or how to feel neutral about it! We explore self-esteem and what healthy relationships are, both romantic, friendships and family. It's a 6-week course ran by Milly and each week you will explore these themes and topics in a variety of ways in our hub on Friar Gate. The space is safe and non-judgmental. Time and time again we see young people struggling with their sense of self and we get it - it's hard growing up in 2023 and most of us parents can only imagine what the pressure of being perfect 24/7 feels like. We know there are so many females who feel this way and by bringing people together in this course they will begin to know that they are not the only ones. All feminine identifying and/or non-binary children welcome, if you have concerns surrounding gender identity and attendance in this group please do not hesitate to get in touch, we'd be happy to help. This is a set course of 6 sessions across 6 weeks starting June 5th 2023. One hour per week, children only session 5:30pm - 6:30pm. Cost is £90 for the full 6 weeks (£15 per week). Refreshments provided (drink and biscuits).
