Service Description

Come and join us for this weekly group session for girls in school years 7 - 10. This group explores all things wellbeing, social media and how we use and consume it, body 'positivity', or how to feel neutral about it! We explore self-esteem and what healthy relationships are, both romantic, friendships and family. It's a weekly session by Milly and each week you will explore these themes and topics in a variety of ways in our hub on Friar Gate. The space is safe and non-judgmental. You can also create, play games and learn new skills - your voices and ideas will be listened to. Time and time again we see young people struggling with their sense of self and we get it - it's hard growing up in 2023 and most of us parents can only imagine what the pressure of being perfect 24/7 feels like. We know there are so many females who feel this way and by bringing people together in this course they will begin to know that they are not the only ones. All feminine identifying and/or non-binary children welcome, if you have concerns surrounding gender identity and attendance in this group please do not hesitate to get in touch, we'd be happy to help. This is a weekly session at 5:30pm - 6:30pm every Monday at our hub on Friar Gate.
