Compassionate Crafts - Self Esteem

Service Description

Join Katie for a fun, creative Compassionate Crafts session designed to help children aged 7–11 years celebrate what makes them uniquely them. Through crafts, gentle conversation and creative activities, children will explore the difference between what they do and who they are, recognising the strengths, qualities and character traits that make them special. Our aim isn't to encourage children to be the loudest or most confident person in the room. It's to help them develop a quieter confidence that comes from knowing their own worth. There is no pressure to speak or share. Children can take part in whatever way feels comfortable for them while enjoying a relaxed afternoon of creativity and connection. The session takes place in the Bridge the Gap Café and is completely free thanks to community funding. If you're no longer able to attend, we'd really appreciate you letting us know so we can offer the space to another child.
