Service Description

🌧️ Support for the Child Who Worries Helping children understand worry and feel less frightened by it. Inspired by the much-loved story *Ruby's Worry* by Tom Percival, this gentle and creative workshop helps children explore worry in a way that feels safe, reassuring and easy to understand. Many children experience worries that can grow bigger when they're kept inside. Through story time, playful discussion and creative craft activities, children will discover that everyone experiences worry sometimes and that talking about our feelings, understanding them and learning coping strategies can help worries feel much more manageable. ### During the session, children will: 🌧️ Explore what worry is and why it visits us. 💛 Notice how worry can affect our thoughts, feelings and body. 🌱 Learn simple grounding and calming strategies to use when worries show up. 🎨 Create a meaningful craft to take home as a reminder that worries don't have to be faced alone.
