Service Description

❤️ Supporting Separation Storytime & Craft Helping children feel connected, even when they're apart. Inspired by the much-loved story *The Invisible String* by Patrice Karst, this gentle and creative workshop helps children understand separation, connection and the reassuring idea that love stays with us wherever we go. Many children experience worries about being apart from the people they love. Whether they're starting school, moving classes, spending time away from family or simply finding separation difficult, this session offers a warm and supportive space to explore those feelings together. Through story time, playful discussion and creative craft activities, children will create their own invisible string reminder, helping them remember that the people who love them are always connected to them, even when they're apart. ### During the session, children will: ❤️ Explore separation worries and big feelings in a gentle, age-appropriate way. 💛 Learn that love, connection and relationships continue even when we can't be together. 🌈 Discover simple coping strategies to help when separation feels difficult. 🎨 Create a meaningful keepsake to take home as a reminder of their own invisible string. Suitable for children aged **5–10 years** (depending on developmental stage). Adults are welcome to stay and enjoy the session together. 💛 Choose what you pay (£10–£15) ⏱️ 1 hour If you're unsure whether this session is suitable for your child, please contact milly@jwbridgethegap.com
