OCT 6th 7pm - 8:15pm If your child feels anxious about travelling, leaving the house or making unfamiliar journeys, this supportive webinar will help you understand what may be happening and how you can help. Together, we’ll explore: What anxiety is and why it can feel so frightening How children can become anxious about the feelings of anxiety itself Emotional literacy and helping children understand what is happening inside their body Coping skills children can practise before taking on difficult journeys How to use a gradual, supported approach to help your child face their fears safely Why our instinct to rescue or “fix” anxiety is understandable—but can sometimes strengthen the fear How parents and carers can help children feel less frightened of difficult feelings This is the same webinar delivered on two dates. You only need to attend one.
